For nearly a century, United Way of Lancaster County has stepped in and stepped up to serve the Lancaster County community.

Since 1925, we have mobilized the caring power of our neighbors, businesses, and community partners through moments that defined generations. It is why we promise impactful service that meets the ever-changing needs of Lancaster County.  But our work is far from finished.

As we look to the future, we envision a Lancaster County where every individual has the opportunity to thrive. Where education is accessible, economic barriers are dismantled, and health resources are attainable for all. We have a commitment to building an impactful, innovative, and inclusive United Way of Lancaster County, but we simply cannot do it alone.  Join us in making a difference that lasts generations!

SDOL Incentive Prizes:

Donate any amount – entered into a drawing for:

  • $30 spirit wear credit (40 winners) 
  • SDoL swag basket (4 winners)

10-month staff 

Donate any amount – entered into the drawings above AND for: 

  • Complimentary lunch with the superintendent (4 winners)
  • Plus: One “Leave Early” certificate (to be used with supervisor approval)

Full-year staff (includes Modified School Year)

Donate $75 – entered into the drawings above AND receive:  

  • One (1) day off with pay on one of the following dates: Monday, October 13, one of two days for the winter break: Monday, December 29 and/or Tuesday, December 30, or Friday, March 20*

Donate $150 – entered into the drawings above AND receive: 

  • Two (2) days off with pay on any two of the following dates: Monday, October 13, Monday, December 29^, Tuesday, December 30^, Friday, March 20*

     

    ^Note: Dec. 29-30 are not applicable for modified full-year staff, as they are already scheduled off on these two dates.

    *If the snow make-up day is needed, March 20 will require supervisor approval

Note: The contribution amounts for two days off was $200 in 2024-2025.
